A Present for the Vineyard

And it’s Christmas time for the vineyard-and for Brian (a present for me from me!) Installation commenced today on a 250000 litre tank for irrigation water. Fingers are crossed that the improved infrastructure will help us survive extreme wind and heat events such as that of Black Saturday in February 2009. We had 45degC and winds in excess of 65kmh. That year we lost 100% of our Viognier crop, 60% of the Grenache and about 80% of our Shiraz.
